Prices assume reasonable access, a power point within extension-lead reach, and bagged waste left on site for you. Taking the waste away, heavy moss, badly damaged ground and unusual access are priced separately, and we always agree the price before we start.

The order matters

Scarifying clears the thatch so the seed can reach the soil. Hollow-tine aeration opens up compacted ground. Overseeding fills the gaps, and feeding gives the new grass a start. Doing them in that order, in one visit where the weather allows, is what makes restoration work better than the same treatments done separately.

Questions

How much does lawn restoration cost?

Lawn Restoration is from £170 for a 25 m² lawn and about £325 for 100 m². Lawn Recovery (scarify, overseed and feed) is about £230 for 100 m², and a Lawn Refresh (scarify only) about £135.

What is the difference between Refresh, Recovery and Restoration?

Refresh is scarifying. Recovery adds overseeding and a seasonal feed. Restoration adds hollow-tine aeration and a light topdressing where it is needed, and is the full treatment for compacted, thin or worn lawns.

When is the best time?

Early autumn is the best window, provided the grass is growing and the soil is moist. Spring is the second choice. We hold off if the lawn is drought-stressed, waterlogged or frozen.

What is not included in the price?

Taking waste away, heavy moss, extensive soil repair, unusual access and VAT where it applies are priced separately. We agree the price before we start.
